NWOW proudly joined and participated in the Auto Reverse Trade Fair (ARTF) 2024, initiated and hosted by the Board of Investments (BOI) on November 19 at the PICC Forum 2. The one-day exhibit served as a platform to connect with automotive, motorcycles and vehicle parts manufacturers to explore potential partnerships and collaborations, creating a way for a more streamlined procurement of important vehicle components within the country.
The Auto Reverse Trade Fair greatly aligns with the BOI’s effort to fortify and strengthen the local supply chain through initiatives such as the Motor Vehicle Development Program (MVDP), the Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) Program, and the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act. By developing and fostering connections between manufacturers and domestic suppliers, the event aims to reduce dependency and reliance on imported parts and advance the localization of automotive/motorcycle production.
Pivotal and significant discussions were featured in the trade fair including Vision of the Philippine Auto Industry and Strategies and Insights for boosting the sector. These conversations underscored the importance of localization in charging forward towards innovation and sustainability within the sector.
