On November 16, NWOW proudly participated in the “One Tree, One Nation” Nationwide Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Sonshine Philippines Movement. This notable initiative united and brought together volunteers, environmental groups, private sectors and local government units across the country to plant trees in various locations and regions, living up the shared commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future.
Embodying its commitment of building “New Ways of World,” NWOW added a vibrant and colorful meaning to its brand by contributing and providing a helping hand to this nationwide action. Passionate and dedicated NWOW volunteers joined hands with the Sonshine Philippines Movement and other advocates, planted trees in different sites across the Philippines including Antipolo, Rizal, Dagupan City, Aklan, Cebu, and Tagum City among others.
Sonshine Philippines Movement (SPM) has been an advocate for reforestation and clean-up drives, reinstating their dedication to humanitarian and environmental causes. Participating in this remarkable nationwide activity, NWOW greatly aligns its commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, reinforcing its values and ideals of reducing pollution, preventing flooding, and fostering awareness for our environment.
This meaningful cause not only supports the government’s environmental goals but also aims at enhancing and improving the quality of life for every Filipino.
