Last September 9, the world celebrated the 5th annual World Electric Vehicle (EV) Day, an occasion and significant moment that highlights the advancements and promising future of the EV industry. This year was particularly remarkable, with notable achievements such as more than 1.2 million electric cars now on UK roads and Norway setting a world record, with EVs capturing 94% of the market share in the last month. Expansion and proliferation of charging stations were being worked out for more accessibility and further support for electric mobility.
Originally created and initiated to raise awareness about the need for a drive towards greener transportation, World EV Day encourages and inspires individuals, businesses, and stakeholders to embrace eco-friendly ways. This emphasizes the goal of this momentous celebration, a more sustainable future that is within reach and powered by electric vehicles.
As we reflect, recall and look back on the success of this year's celebration, NWOW remains dedicated and committed to playing its part in the movement, driving toward a cleaner, greener future for all.
